The MLS has the capability to send new listings to your email address.  This is used to provide you with a new listing as soon as it has been entered by any listing agent that uses the MLS system.

You specify certain criteria, and the information sent to you will meet that criteria.

When I set this up it will also send a notification to me. This works well many times when time is critical to capture a special listing.  Two heads are always better than one.
